Family Living by the Water

On the waterways of beautiful St Huberts Island, our clients wanted to breathe new life into their dated lower-level living space—somewhere their whole family could gather, celebrate, and make memories for years to come. Their vision was simple: a place that felt open, functional, and welcoming, especially during holidays and family occasions.

Working closely with them, we reimagined the kitchen and living area to create a space that flows naturally and caters to large groups without losing its sense of warmth. We also redesigned the downstairs WC and laundry to be more practical for everyday family life, making sure the layout and storage could handle the constant cycle of washing that comes with a busy household.

The finished space features tiled flooring throughout, herringbone splashbacks, and a seamless transition between all the wet areas and the heart of the home—the kitchen. It’s a relaxed, functional, and family-oriented environment shaped entirely around how our clients wanted to live, host, and enjoy their coastal setting.
